Custom and personalized orders are welcome where possible. Each piece is made with care and consideration, and I’m happy to work with you to create something meaningful and well-made.

Because custom work is made specifically for you, these orders are non-refundable. Production timelines may vary depending on the scope of the project.

Clear communication is an important part of the process. Details, design choices, and expectations will be discussed throughout to ensure the finished piece aligns with what was agreed upon.

Sizing details

Adjustments to the length of bracelets, necklaces, and pearl strands may be possible upon request and will depend on material availability.

Care Instructions For Diamonds and Gemstones

Diamonds & Gemstones

Diamonds and many gemstones are durable, but can still be scratched or damaged with improper wear.
• Avoid impact with hard surfaces
• Remove jewelry before heavy activity or manual work
• Clean gently using warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush
• Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners unless appropriate for the specific stone

Care Instructions For Pearls

Pearls require more delicate care due to their organic nature.
• Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and hairspray
• Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wearing
• Store separately to prevent scratching
• Do not use ultrasonic or harsh cleaning methods

Pearls benefit from occasional wear, but should not be exposed to excessive dryness or heat.

Custom and personalized orders

Gold, Gold-Filled & Sterling Silver

Gold, gold-filled, and sterling silver jewelry are durable, but will naturally show wear over time.
• Remove before swimming, bathing, or using household chemicals
• Store in a dry place, preferably separate from other pieces
• Clean with a soft cloth or mild soap and water as needed

Sterling silver may develop tarnish over time, which can be easily removed with a polishing cloth or appropriate silver cleaner.

Custom and personalized orders

Karat Gold (Solid Gold)
Solid gold alloys such as 10k, 14k, or 18k. Durable, long-lasting, and resistant to tarnish—well suited for everyday wear.

Gold-Filled
A thick layer of gold bonded to a base metal. Contains significantly more gold than plated materials and offers excellent durability with proper care.

Gold-Plated
A thin layer of gold applied over a base metal. While attractive initially, it can wear over time with regular use.



Gold-plated materials are not used in regular production, except when repurposing vintage or antique components.

Shipping and Handeling

Ready-to-ship items ship within 1–3 business days.

Custom and personalized orders ship on a timeline based on the scope of work and will be communicated during the design process.



Shipping Details

Free domestic shipping is offered within the United States.

Delivery times vary by carrier and destination. Granite Coast Jewelers is not responsible for postal delays once an order has shipped.

International buyers are responsible for any duties, taxes, or fees required by their country. Granite Coast Jewelers is not responsible for customs delays or additional charges.

Due to regulations, orders cannot be accepted from Germany. Orders with a German shipping address will be canceled and refunded.

Returns and Exchanges

Returns:

Returns and exchanges are accepted. Please contact Granite Coast Jewelers within 14 days of delivery to request a return or exchange.

All returned items must be sent back in their original condition. Each piece is inspected upon return. Refunds are issued within 3–5 business days of receiving the item.

Items showing signs of wear, damage, or alteration may be subject to a partial refund.

There are no restocking fees.



Exchanges

Exchanges are available for eligible items. If you would like to exchange a piece, please reach out within 14 days of delivery to discuss available options.

Exchange approval may depend on item condition and material availability. Any difference in price will be adjusted accordingly.

Packaging

Each piece is carefully packaged with attention to detail to ensure it arrives safely and in presentation-ready condition.

Packaging is suitable for gifting, whether for yourself or someone else.
